Spring is here in the UK and we have a wonderful online workshop for you all to get you moving and give you ideas for your teaching practice!

We are absolutely delighted to welcome Christa Coogan from the Department of Elemental Music Pedagogy at the University for Music and Theatre in Munich, Germany, to lead a workshop for us on Orff Schulwerk movement, in which we will create ways of experiencing embodiment through dance, connecting movement to music, and interacting with partners in both the online and the physical space. The emphasis will be on material for children aged seven to 11 years of age, followed by discussions and reflections on approaches to teaching movement in music classes.
The workshop will be held on Saturday 8th May 2021, 10.00am – 1.00pm BST (GMT+1), and is priced at £15 for members and £20 for non-members. You can find out more about membership, which gives you access to resources and discounts on courses, here.
