An exciting message from Kate Buchanan, our Orff UK teacher training (CPD) programme course leader! Kate writes:

“We are delighted to invite you to attend three in-person professional development days in March, April and May 2022 to extend your understanding of the Orff approach. Day 1 explores cross-curricular ideas and the first of two sessions looking at arranging and strategies for classroom teaching. Day 2 focuses on improvisation and extends the arranging of songs and pieces to include improvisation. Day 3 looks at composing as play and exploring dance and choreography to develop musical understanding. 

Our hosts for the workshops are three primary schools in different parts of London which are committed to using the Orff approach in their music classrooms. We hope you can join us!”
