I am the specialist music teacher at a large west-London primary school and a clarinettist.  I studied English at the University of Edinburgh and trained as an actor at LAMDA. Eight years ago, I retrained as a teacher at the Institute of Education. My interest in the Orff approach came from a desire to bring greater creativity, engagement and child-centred learning into the classroom. I am married to a professional baroque oboist and we have two teenage budding musician sons!
